Frozen Summit Vintage is a tearoom favorite in the winter. This aged version of Frozen Summit oolong, from the year 2018, has a deeper aroma than the classic Taiwanese Frozen Summit.
Every year, as part of the tea-aging process, the tea master retrieves stored teas. He dials in the temperature of the charcoal and prepares the tightly rolled tea leaves on bamboo trays. The heat removes traces of summer rain and accentuates the depth of flavor from aging.
Our Frozen Summit Vintage tastes of molasses and toasted walnuts. The mouthfeel is full and expansive with flares of tobacco.
